my standard tach wasnt working so my mate assured me he could test it by running a wire to the coil, stupidly put it on the positive (which untill after i didnt know was wrong)
it fizzled and wouldnt start,
iv got csi ignition and now i cant get any signal to the coil, iv replaced the ignition modual and coil but still no luck, im worried iv cooked my computer???

Don't want to ask the silly question.. You've checked all associated fuse's?

You have just injected something that's very sensitive to voltage change let alone sticking voltage on a neg leg.

I'd be looking at your little black box.. Smell something funny?
