hey guys

I need to get my parker lights working for Rego but they wont switch on, so I used a power tester on the orange wire and it has power, but it is constant headlight switched off/parkers and hi beam there is constant power is that right?, also can i test the bulbs by touching the wire from the bulb onto the battery?

Thanks

are you testing the h4 plug? the one with 3 pins that looks like this I_I cause that is for your high and low beam and would have a power feed on one of the pins. the parker globes are the little twist in ones with a wedge type globe. also have you checked the fuse under the dash?

I tested the H3 Bulb that has the Orange Wire connected to it, that orange wire is providing constant power to the H3 bulb. fuses seem to be fine.

Parking lights are a brown wire you shouldnt be going anywhere near your H4 hi/low beam globe. So are only the parkers in your headlights not working or out completely (dash/taillights etc..)??

The H3 globes (hi-beam) have constant power running to them. That is why you can flash your hi-beam with the car turned off.

Check if the fuse is blown for the parkers.
Then check for power at the parkers with a test light.
Or you can just take the globe out and see if they are blown.
