I have a 1999 VT2 LS1 manual, it has a faulty BCM, have taken it out and the the thing reads, 251 MID, now according to the Holden guys it should read 313 MID, is this right or what, what's worse is the BCM fried itself but the fuse for it is intact (no courtesy lights when locking and unlocking the car and the remote boot doesn't work just click click from the BCM).
Please don't tell me it's the solenoid on the bootlid because it isn't, that's the lazy answer and doesn't explain the courtesy lights.
Further, all fuses have been replaced or checked and all the rest, widows, seat, mirrors all work
There it is in a nutshell do you know the answer

VT S1 Commodore EXE 1999 with vx 3.8/auto
well i can answer this this way...
vt 2

exe/acc/s/ss low 315 level1
"" "" "" "" mid 313 level1
berlina high 314 lux level2
calais high 312 level3

i hope this helps..

how about checking all the relays..and see if they are working...
remeber a relay can work and jam on ...and work and jam off
and it could be a short in a wire that feeds a relay wire..
from another wire in the loom that has rubbed together...

i would first replace all the relays..with a different set...
a quick visit to the wreckers :)
if it was still there i be doing a wire hunt...

:)
