Best battery?

my VP needs a new battery... i was probably going to go with just the RAA battery but is there any other brands i should consider that'll work better and last longer?

AcDelco are pretty good, bit cheaper than the optima batteries.

I'm gonna vote for Optima too. I have a D34 and the other week I was working on the car, unknowingly I had left the key in ACC mode for over a week!! Obviously had a flat battery, battery only had 3.5v in it, but charged it up and it still goes strong. You flatten a normal battery below about 9v and you throw it away.

What retailer would sell optima and what price range am i looking at? i was hoping about $120 max...

For $120 you would probably just get a standard battery.

yh thats what i was thinking... who sells optima, ive tried to find a retailer with no luck..
