Hi guys, I have dropped an l67 into my VL and wired most of it up.

The engine will crank, but I have no spark, no injectors.

-I’m not using a BCM, as the security feature has been disabled on the memcal.

-there is power to the injectors, but the ECU isn't earthing them to fire.

-fuel pumps prime with "ign on" and there is fuel pressure at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.

-I have a spark indicator tool on plug #1 and its not sparking.

-crank angle and cam angle sensors are both brand spankers.

I’m not sure what else to check as everything seems to be wired up correctly according to the workshop manual's diagrams that I have, however some of the wire colours on the loom don't match the colours on the diagrams (did a lot of the wring by terminal number @the ECU).

I’m wondering if there are any other sensors that will give a "no start + no inject" situation if they are faulty? (book says only crank and cam sensors do this) also there are 6 wires coming out of the engine side of the loom which go to the 3 body plugs that I’m not sure what they're for;

They are:
Black, white trace
Light green
Grey, blue trace
Grey
Green
Brown, blue trace.

Please help as I’m at my wits end with this thing and everything seems to be as it should.

if dfi module is faulty it can cause issues aswell, because the crank and cam angle sensors are connected to the dfi. check for power at the dfi module.

also, where did you get the security taken off the computer?

theres a relay that powers the DFI, thinks its called engine comp in the engine bay fusebox normally, is a common problem when the car still cuts out after replacing the crank angle sensor... the wiring diagrams dont always show it in the circuit tho, dunno why.... but thought id let you know about it

dr bob did it for me.

she's running now anyway.

i had over looked (somehow) that the light green wire at terminal p of the dfi wasn't getting power. sweet as now.

cheers heaps for your help guys, especially wamboin23. greatly appreciated!
