Hi guys, hoping someone can solve this problem for me.

I switched a head unit over for my sister today, but when I plugged the Positive back in at the battery, the parker lights were on without being switched on at the dash. However when I switch the headlights on, my speakers cut out and I lose all sound.

PLEASE HELP!! not sure what on earth has happened here....

Thanks to all.

What model is it mate?

The car is a VT Calais....the model of the HU is JVC KD DV4306.

I checked all wiring....all I have connected are all 4 speakers, Ground, Battery and Acc.

This is very strange indeed. I turn the car on, i get no sound but the rest of the stereo works just fine. I flick the headlights on and then off, my sound comes through, but my parkers come on. In actual fact they may not be my parkers as the light that remains on is a LOT dimmer than my lo beam. Any ideas?
