VR/VS Calais/statesman/Caprice door trim light wiring

I got some calais door trims and it came with the lighs which they normally do and I want to connect then up but have clue how to, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Need 2 wires per door. Tape them together in pairs (preferablely red and black).
There will be 2 wires coming down from the dome light down the right side B pillar (next to Drivers head). They run all the way down to the bottom and then shoot forward under the dash.
Locate these wires, and splice your wires in from all your doors.
Get some proper wire connections from repco or something, don't just tape it up, it's active, could cause a problem if one little wire pokes out.

are the wires for the interior light in the b pillar on the VN as well? I'm doing the same thing on Saturday..
