As u apply the brakes when the Left indicator is on, the Left indicator stops blinking (stays on), take ur foot of the brake and the indicator starts blinking again. Oh and when ur foot is off the brakes, the centre brake light (the rear window light) blinks with the indicator.... Right indicator works fine.

Simply i'd say that you either have a short between ur centre brake light and ur left indicator or someone has messed with the wiring.
did you buy the car with this problem? or did it just start happening? even though you've owned the car for a while?

Out of curiousity does ur left idicator come on constant when you brake if the indicator isn't flashing?

easy. The earth wire for the left hand light assy is disconnected, or is broken inside the plastic insulation. Either way the earth wire has poor continuity with the body.
When the indicator flashes, it finds an earth thriough the brake light's (inactive) power circuit. Vice versa for the indicator when the brake light is pressed.

Make sure your earths are good at the light assy wiring harness.
