o2 sensor wire colours on vt commodore

Hey guys, wondering if anyone can tell me what the coloured wires represent on the original VT2 o2 sensor.

It has:
1x lite brown
1x purple
2x dark brown

The new o2 sensor has a diagram with it and has:
1x blue (computer)
1x white (ground)
2x black (heater)

I've assumed the 2 black ones go to the 2 dark brown ones.... as for the other 2 I'm not sure...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Purple is the signal (computer) and the light brown should be the earth.

vx v6 air to fuel oxy semsers

hey guys im hooking up at air to fuel gauge can i run a wire from the left oxygen senser to the right oxygen senser so the air to fuel gauge reads both side of the engine and what would the senser color be for both sides for a vx v6
