Alternator charging voltge is not everything. Charging current is the often forgotten about measurement. You need to connect a 50A ammeter between the alternator charging terminal and the wire that connects to it, so that the current flows through the ammeter. Turn the car on, run it at 2500RPM and load the electrical system to about 10 or 20 amps using high beams, air conditioning, rear demister, blower fan etc. Check that the alternator can keep up.
Ideally you should use a hand-held load device so you can dial up exact amp loadings and check the alternator matches it.

Too low. Should be 13.8 to 14.2, maybe up to 14.7V.
Check your connections, from the alternator to battery, and body and engine earths. sand them back and tighten them up firmly.

Hi there
Befor i changed regulator i cleaned ,sandpaper all battery leads connact points
Pulled off all earth leads i could find in engine bay cleaned...sandpaper
I checked 3 leads that go onto regulaotr all have power

With new regulator fitted in

11.7 v at battery engine off
11.1 volt on brushes without being fitted to alternator

Now regulator fitted
11.5 v with engine at idle

So fitted old regulaotr
11.42 ar battery...
But get this only 1.55 volts on one brush and 3.2 volts on other brush
now regulator fitted
11.4 v at idle
11.56 at 2000 rpm
Then turned engine off 11.83

So the question is why isn't these charging????

What can i check befor buying a new alternator???
Wire current check???? how do i do this????

PLease help any comments welcome

i would be checking that the +ve lead that goes from the alt to the batt is good.
can test by checking the voltage at the batt and the alt while its going. the reading should be pretty much identical.
if you have been getting these readings all at the batt its most likely the lead.
