wont start, starter motor won even try to crank

i have recently replaced the ignition switch and barrel as this was happening before, due to the switch snapping off from the barrel.
the lights come on and you can hear fuel etc just no starter motor.
im hoping its a faulty ignition switch, , but could there be any other problems?

could be the starter relay or the inhibitor switch if its an auto

is the security light turning off when you turn the key to on?

I actually have just had the same problem I spoke to this starter motor company today who explained that it could be the relay only problem is they are UK based.

get a test light on the small start wire going to the starter motor and have someone try to start it, if it lights up the there could be a problem with the starter, if it doesnt it will prob be a fault in the start circuit.
