Hey guys, i need some help. Im wiring up some footwell lights n my VL, a fair few of them actually, so i drew this little picture. Can someone help finish it so that the lights will come on when I use the switch and the lights are on. There are 3 wires coming fom the cigarette socket:
1: the large black one is the Earth
2: the brown one is the power
3: the wire that turns the socket light on

Will this one below work? Or does it need to be connected to the light wire?

Thanks for any help guys

Connect the + to the socket light wire and the - to any metal part of the body or the negative on the socket.

I didn't relalize that you wanted to turn them on and off. In that case run the positive from the socket to one terminal of the switch, an then go from the other terminal on the switch to the positive of the neon.
By the way, I don't see a diagram in you original post.
