faulty vx mirror switch

my vx mirror switch is only moving my mirrors right is their a way to clean the switch so it will work properly or do i have to replace the whole switch?

When I pulled my rear vision switch apart I found a printed circuit track had blown.
It was a simple matter to bridge the gap with solder (using a magnifying glass and a small soldering iron).
Just note how things come apart so you can put them back the same way.
You can smear a little vaseline on the contacts to lubricate them.
