vp remote clicker wont switch on computer or unlock doors sometimes

vp remote wont switch on computer or unlock doors sometimes, the red light is flashing on the clicker and have put new battery in it. when turning on ignition the computer doesnt seem to work and just get the beeping sound that lets you know that the remote button needs to be pressed. sometimes it works ok, sometimes i have to try heaps of times. Seems like there is some of reciever problem. Would appreciate any help as car no wont start and is sitting in my driveway unable to start it.

you can turn it off if you have the zadi key to turn it off via the switch in the passenger door shut

mine is the same just doesnt work at all, the zadi key has no effect at all
