vt series 2 thermo fan -how does it work????

was working on my car and the r/h fan not working????turn a/c on and l/h works,checked power too r/h motor-12volts,so i got one from the wreckers ex98 vt put in and both fans work off the a/c turn a/c off no fan_??/?///?/?i thought r/h fan was low speed fan???other fan for a/c???the 98 fans have 4 wire my old one has two wires???help

I believe that early model VTs have two 2 speed fans while later model VTs have one high speed fan & one low speed fan.
My late 1999 VTs LHS (low speed) fan comes on with A/Con & low temp.
My high speed & low speed fans both come on for high temperatures.
