vx fog light upgrade

gday fellas,

i have just purchased a SS kit for my VX LUMINA SERIES 1.

I have located one of the plugs for the fog lights on the pasangers front side taped next to the radiator but i cant find at all the plug on the drivers side anywhere, i just wanted to see if anyone knew exactly where it should be before i take off the front bar.

found it this morning, it was taped up with all the wires towards the bottom of the headlight.

i want to do this to my s pack, where abouts did u get the kit from? and where the wires already on the body kit ready to go?

yer im in the middle of ss kitting mine, have a look i posted it all on my cars thread. I got the foggies off ebay last week they were $119 and free postage from just comm auto salvage and they fit fine pretty good quality aftermarket ones.

they come with globes and the cables for hooking it up to the bumper (the plugs are taped up under your car already so u just have to plug them in). Then just buy a switch and harness (for the switch to sit in) for your dash. then cut out a hole for it slot the harness in, put the switch in and plug it in behind the dash aswell and you should be sweet to go.

switch about $40
harness not too sure i still have to get it

All up shouldnt take more than a hour or so.
Ill let you know how mine goes ill take some pics when i do it nxt week

no dramas mate, i would be doing it sooner if i didnt get paid fortnightly

knowing me ill probs stuff it up something spectacular!
but ill let you know having the fog lights in the bar already is good enough

The fog light switch and surround arrived today, picked it up off eBay for $30 so I'm going to try and hook it up tomorrow morning, just a bit hesitant about cutting the dash.

Fnished the fog lights done, fitted the switch and wired it all uo. Ended up needing a relay for the fuse box under the bonnet to make it all work. I still need a fuse for the interior fuse box under the steering wheel so that the fog-light light works on the dash cluster. Will upload some pictures.

I will also try get a rough template incase anyone else needs to cut out their dash.
