vq factory alarm

i fitted an aftermarket alarm into my vq 5L, everything works, central locking and immobaliser.
but i cant stop the beeping and factory press remote light flashing. it goes for about 5mins then stops.
any1 know how to stop this, i dont have a key for the lock in the glovebox

Take your VIN into holden, and they should be able to give you the code to get the override key cut for the immobiliser.

Are you sure you can move and undo the securing nut of the key switch on the other side of the plastic inside the glove box so you can pull out the switch and get to the wiring?

i took the lock out and joined the wiring so the car runs, might just find a lock with key and hope the way i hooked the alarm up still works. hahaha backyard auto electrics............ thanks
