The alternator in our VH (308) isn't charging. Tried changing the regulator but still didn't change a thing. Anyone know wat the go is? Can lotsa revs kill them?

Degreasing inside an alternator can not be good for it, they are only lubed at service time, ie when they are apart, if you wash out the lube it will run dry and fail.
