i'm probably going to get a sealed/maintenance free battery for my battery to boot relocation.
just from looking at what's out there, i saw optima and supercharge, but i guess there's others.

optima are heaps more expensive than supercharge, and there's probably a reason for it. but i'm not sure i need to spend the extra on one.

the car's a v8, and will have a 120A vt alternator. the audio setup is 2 12" subs, a pair of 6x9's and two 4's. the 12's and their amp are just poxy Boss audio ones right now, but i'll swap them for decent units.

the setup will never be mental or heaps cranked, so it doesn't need to be super stereo battery, can i get away with the supercharge battery?

I have an Optima Yellowtop D34 in mine, and I can listen for hours on a decent volume and not have a problem starting it up again.
I can't comment on the Supercharge batteries as I've never used them.

We can still do cheap Optima batteries through Shopping Secure. Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - Optima Batteries Group Buy
Not sure what the Supercharge equivalent is worth either though

+1 for D34. My mechanic has had my car cranking for about 3 minutes before when I was getting a new fuel pump installed (it was being annoying) and the battery didn't even sound like it was close to going flat. Another time I left my car in ignition mode for about 4 hours, I came back and it still started up straight away.

Yes. A battery is just a battery and will work in any vehicle.
