VR brake lights

Hello everyone and thanks for your time, my issue is with my vr wagon Tail/brake lights, the brake lights dont work when you depress the pedal, but come on along with the tail lights when the lights are switched on,i have checked and replaced globes/fuses, if anyone has had the same issue or if someone could give me any ideas to fix the problem would be just great, thankyou in advance

UPDATE: just fixed the brake lights it was the brake pedal switch ! after doing this when you turn lights on the brake lights have a infrequent dull flicker, im thinking this must be a short in the loom/Globe/bayonet, still needing help with idea's
