Helpl error 48

My starter motor burnt out today and had to replace it, now when i try to start my car it cranks fast but won;t start, error code 48 camshaft sensor, any ideas?

Camshaft sensor faulty, wiring or connector or a wire has grounded itself on that sensor (cut,bridging)
