Hey guys,
Recently picked myself up an 01 VX Executive. I've ordered one of those cheapy chinese alarms for it just as a deterrent for thieves really. Had good experiences with them in my lancer, however the central locking in that was all aftermarket....hence my need for help.
Anyway what I'm asking for is basically some wiring diagrams on how/where I should be running the lines to the central locking. However if I do manage this, will i still have to use the factory key to disable the immobiliser? If so I might as well just have the alarm separate to the central and hook it up to the roof light(which is cut? pos/neg?) so it goes off when the doors open(+shock sensor).
Any help/opinions would be appreciated, if I'm going to have to use two keys im just going to go the roof light route.
