Where is the electrical short?

Can someone plz help,,,my radio fuse keeps blowing out as soon as i turn the key!! i took out the radio and it still blows.Ive used a voltage tester to find which fuse is doing the damage and the main fuse in my vt turns the light off.I Dont know anything about wires in cars so detailed help would be great.cheers

The short is somewhere between the radio fuse and the radio wiring harness.

Follow the wires and check the insulation.

Failing that, take it to an auto electrician if you're not sure about wiring.

If you don't mind me asking, but how exactly does a voltage tester work? Is it just your radio that stops working or are you losing power to other circuits as well? And have you done any work under the dash recently that might have disturbed the electrics?
