vs ignition into vt

vs ignition into vt ??????? can it be done ??? are they the same ???
lost key to vt but have complete vs ignition ,, black box ,, key ,, and barrel will it start it if i swap it all ????

key - yes, barrel - yes, black box (BCM) - no.

the BCM is locked to the key (Coded) ... not to mention, i believe the BCM is different in a VT to VS. you could get the VS key coded to match your current car VT BCM. but holden will charge you a bit to do it. give your dealership a call and ask the service department how much? if you're happy to spend what they want... it solves your problem.
