VT wagon
hi,
the wagon door central locking does not do anything at all. ( 97 VT Wagon ),
even the key in the lock does not lock/unlock the door.

the solenoid thing (i don't think its a solenoid but maybe it is :)) works fine, and when testing it seems that no power is actually getting to that end of the wiring..

so i'm just wondering where the loom might end up (where any connections might be) so i can test whether the loom/wiring is ok or where it might be bugged out..

thanks

ps
just realised the thread title should be "rear power locking doesnt work "

s/charged v6 HR Holden, s/charged v6 EH Holden,
I am thinking that maybe the Wagons have a "Valet" Mode that allows the rear door to remain unlocked , check your glovebox manual , it may be mentioned there???

SOLVED

finally just pulled it enough apart.

there are seeminly no junctions between fuse box and rear lock (i kind of assumed there might be at the various door side wires), there are however various joins in that it isnt just one continuous wire (makes me curious about the history of the car).

but i determined the wire had just decided to spontaneously/totally break at the door end of the rubber conduit/seal between car and wagon door.
