Hi all

Can anyone help me get my cruise control to work that I've just fitted to my '93 SS

The unit I have fitted is from a VP Berlina

I'm sure I've all the plugs in the correct places - the control module & switch block just plugged plugged in
for the the brake switch I used another std brake switch which works & wired in the grey/green - brown
for the other plug I used a jumper lead on the 2 brown wires to connect the circuit
the dash has the white wire for the check light & the green for the speed sensor

I can turn on the switch & it lights up- thats about it except when I turn the key on the cruise light will blink
I've also spent time to check power getting to the module - all good
I've also tried to put the system in check mode & dont have the cruise lamp light up (apply brake, turn unit on & hold the + & - buttons)

Thanks

I've got it sorted :)

It looks like you cant use a standard stop switch as the circuit is normally closed & when you apply the brake it opens the circuit
As soon as i got 12volts on the brown wire at the module by joining the wires all works fine in test mode
I'll get the correct switch tomorrow & all should be good

Cheers mate
