hey guys i need basic run down of how to work the best way out to power up my carby 304 engine

my vl was org a rb30, and i only need to power the basic parts. starter. coil. dizzy. alternator.as for senders like oil pressure. temp etc. thats fine as im running autometer gauges

can anyone shred some light on this. ive heard mixed reports the vk loom will plug straight in to my existing loom,

any help would be great

why the downgrade?

did you get the engine for free or something?

is that even a legal conversion?

anyway, its a carby engine, there's basically nothing to connect.

the starter and alternator connect to the battery, the start solenoid just connects to the old starter wiring, and the dizzy and coil connect to each other/to a switched 12volts.

you shouldn't need a loom for any of this, there really isn't a loom!
