vt wont start properly

Hi people, when I turn the key sometimes nothing happens, and other times the starter turns over but as soon as the engine starts it stops again, Continually doing this, not working at all, and then stalling as soon as it gets running. Sometimes taking up to five minutes to get the car to start. I have replaced the battery and it is still playing up. Do you think its the starter motor or a wiring issue maybe? Opinions appreciated.

I just tried starting it in neutral as well with no success. Also noticed that once it is running it starts normally if you turn off ignition and restart it straight away.

Try here, Start reading around post 13, may be your problem. Hard starting?
