L.E.D Questions

Im chasing some T10 wedges for my dash and might wire some other things to fit later down the track, but just wondering what's the brightest type of L.E.D?

Ive been googling for a while and so far im still mixed between SMD, HID and Xenons

I want a nice white coming from them (I realize that may come down to who makes them)

These aren't the brightest LEDs, but they will give you maximum light flow with minimal hotspots. If you buy them, request white at end of sale.


You could TRY these - 2x T10 White 5 SMD LEDs for Car Side Light / Headlight | eBay

These are bright, but I know forsure these dont fit L3 clusters cos they are a tad too long, dont know if they will fit L2 either, and not sure how bad the hot spots would be.

HID and Xenon aren't LED globe, they're headlights so cross them off your list

SMD Leds are the brightest, but often what you need as well especially in dashes is spread.

Yeah i have a set of those exact ones, they are fairly dull.

Got a set of these too. Bloody pathetic. Of the 10 2 worked and 1 of the 2 was blue.




Took the plunge and bought a bunch of these, They will more than likely fit

Yeah... unfortunately the white is dull in the regular square LEDs.

With the ones you just bought, they only point one direction, which is straight out causing big hotspots, but see how they go.

Yeah, 10 bucks for 10 cant complain they dont work the way i want ill just chuck em in the license plate :smoking:

Just bought 4 of those ones you suggested, had a look in the dash and would defo fit the L2

They still might have hotspots, i dont know, but might even things up a bit better......
