My alternator isnt charging my battery properly...so I need to buy a new one.
As far as I know the stock vy v6 alternators are 100amp And the cop upgrades are 120amp and then the v8 ones are more again...
I've got a kinda big stereo...one mono block amp in the boot running 1500rms and I'll be putting a 4channel one in soon and I have like neons and all that jazz...
All running off my optima yellow top.
Now here is the question...I can go the normal alternator...but is it possible and worthwhile to put a bigger alternator in? Or should I just put the stock one in and do a big 3 upgrade? Which I'm goin to do anyway...
Any help or input appreciated...
