No engine waring light.. Help

Hey all, have a vk with vn 5l. have no eninge light just wondering how to wire it up to a globe or something thanks....

positive from ignition switch to lamp and the other side of lamp goes to Pin A5 on ECU computer this goes negative brown/white wire
also pin A9 is the diagnostic request input white/black this gets put to ground i think its ground if not its positive.
