Has anyone installed an electric brake controller in a VZ Adventra for a trailer.
Is there wiring available under the dash for easy connection?

Mate all new wiring has to be run from front to back. Pretty straight forward job just takes a bit of time

Thanks for that, just made a start on the weekend, I have run a new wire from the back of the car to the brake unit, I hate removing all of the plastic trim.

Now I'm having trouble accessing the brake switch to cut into the wire, the switch seems way out of reach, has anyone had experience with gaining access to the switch or associated wire. I'm just trying to avoid removing as much stuff as possible.

There a 4 wires for the brake controller.

1. + from the battery c/w auto-reset circuit breaker to the brake controller (black).
2. _ to battery for ground from the brake controller (white)
3. Wire to trailer plug from brake controller (blue), and
4. Wire from stop light switch connected to cold side to activate the brake controller when the brake pedal is pushed. (red) (it is this wire I'm having issues with connecting to the appropriate wire)
