alarm upgrade

can any car alarm with the lock/unlock triggers be used as a alarm upgrade to be able to keep the old remotes instead of using the alarm ones

I doubt an aftermarket alarm will retain the factory key head control but you can buy specific upgrade alarms, holden marketed them and so did mongoose i believe.
