Hi everyone,
I have a VY ute with a hard top. Now to lock the lid, it has a lock either side, however my old man lost the key so there useless. Now instead of just replacing the locks, I though I may be able to install some sort of automatic system.
My idea is to use 2 central locking actuators and connect it to the passenger door actuator, so when I unlock the passenger door, it unlocks the other 2.
Now my questions are:
1 - will I be able to just hook the 2 actuators up to the wiring coming off the passenger door? (wont cause too much load),
2 - What colour are the wires coming off the actuator, and
3 - can I access them from the kick panel, or do I have to take the door trim off?
