    Default Differences in wiring

Hi, Im new to this forum and need some info.

I have just bought a serise1 vp hsv sport wagon and the last owner had the level 3 cluster repaired, some idiot has replaced the flexi circuit board with a 1992 - 1993 serise 2.

The problems I have are : 1. Cruise control and Speed altert not working.
    2. Speed light comes on when the fuel tank is low.
    3. When I do a diagnostic check the crusie control and low fuel light dont come on.

If anyone could tell me what the diifferences are in the wiring loome so can fix this problem.

    Cheers.

In short you need a vn/vp trip module from inside the cluster, made the same mistake on my sv3800

Ok, I have tried my friends level 3 cluster in the car and it all works fine, So I have dismantled my level 3 cluster and found the LCD screen is out of a VR or Vs.
    Part Number is : 26667, Vdo number E31.595 (5th month 1995) I think.
So my question is now, where the printed circuit board plugs into the lcd unit has anyone got a wiring diagram or discription of what each curcuit connects too for a vr/vs.

vp level 3 there are 8 connections in the plug:

    1: Fuel Gauge
    2: Low fuel globe
    3: Speed Globe
    4: Chime
    5: Temperture Globe
    6: Connector 3 wire 7 ( Alternator )
    7: Connector 3 wire 3 -5 ( Two Pulses )
    8: Hand Brake Globe

The Only reason im asking is the previous owner had the Odometer reset in the unit and there is no one in perth who can reset a replacement unit.

    Cheers.
