    Default VZ Footwell Fuse?

    Hi guys.

Looking at grabbing some LED strips (12v) Now, If I connect to the cigarette lighter 12v, will I still need to run a fuse between the LED's and the +ve cigarette wire? Or can I get away with no fuse?

The cigy lighter should run a fuse with a few other things (dash lights or something maybe, cant remember what) so it should be fine, but if something went wrong with them i.e. dodgy ebay spec quality and shorted out would you want the dash lights to go out one night. I'd put on in but it will work with or without one.
