VX Sometimes dont start

My VX someties does not start, usually when it has been driving, Like if u go to shop quickly and come out and start it when it,s still warm, Does this half turnover thing and then stops, only bout 50% of the time. Fine when cold though,auto elec said that they have common problem with wiring melting near starter, Asked if it could be the relay he said no. any ideas or past experiences? Thanx

Mine has done it before, not sure why myself. Be interested to know the cause.
