shift down light

i have a monster tacho set up in my burnout car and the shift up light is set 5500 rpm i can do burnouts in 3rd gear but only if i am not moving very fast so i want a shift light that will tell me to shift into 2nd gear when the car hits about 3500rpm

any help please

probably easiest just to get a separate led type shift light you can set to 3500rpm, i have one of these in my car with a blue led's

Set your shift light to 3500. When it goes off, shift down? Hehe

Otherwise, use a 5pin relay, and your 87a terminal can be used as an opposite output. I'm sure you can get creative and work something out.

Jaycar do a frequency switch kit.

Can be setup to turn on with rising or falling frequency.

I used it as a shift light controller, and would be great for what you want.
