VU radio wiring and handbrake wire ?

Gday all,

new to the site.. I've been looking at the threads trying to find if someone has figured out the VU radio wiring colours? I have found the posting with the excellent table of colours from the administrator and was wondering if the coloumn that says current models cover the VU? Also, this wiz bang header I bought has a wire to the hand brake cause you are not supposed to watch DVD's driving... Can anyone clear up how to conect to this or how to get around it? cheers..

You wire the handbrake wire to the earth to enable video while driving, but it is illegal and I don't condone it.

You should be able to get an adaptor harness to go straight from the HU to the original loom. Supercheap has them.
