VY SII S-PACK N/A V6
WARNING: I take no responsibility for damage caused by the install. Having said that, its quite simple just takes a little care

This install will only work if you already have the fog light symbol (just doesn't light up) on your dash.
If not you can add a light elsewhere, most of this tread will still apply.

What you will need:

Tools
Phillips Screw driver(short and long)
Drill and drill bits
Needle nose pliers
Multimeter
Soldering iron
hot glue gun

Parts
3mm green led 6000mcd 3.3volts (if voltage is different then you will need a different resistor your local electronics shop should help you)
mini resistor 560ohms
thin wire for inside cluster(phone line wires)
thicker wire for connection to fog lights
heat shrink to suit wire size
two pin connector
cable ties & tape

Step 1
Remove cluster from car and remove lense (picture tells 1000 words)

Step 2
Once lense is removed gently lift corner of dash plate to reveal were fog indicator will go (don't lift to much cause you might damage fuel gauge needle)

Step 3
prepare the led by putting a 90 degree bend just below the bulb
attach the thin wires to the led with solder making sure you know which is positive (the long leg on the led)
now drill two holes just big enough for your solder joints to pass through, keep them as low as possible so the bulb doesn't hit the underside of dash plate (you can drill these holes through a hole just below the light chamber)

Step 4
feed wires through holes (you may need to bend the led legs a bit) and then slide on heat shrink
position led and hold in place with some hot glue (through same hole as you drilled through)

Step 5
feed wires through air vent on back of cluster and then refit lense so you dont damage front
solder on resistor and check that resistence is still 560ohms
solder on larger wires and cover with heat shrink
at the point take cluster to your car battery and touch wires agains terminals (light should be on)

Step 6
Get a cold bourbon and pat yourself on the back for getting the hard part done

Step 7
trim wire so connector will sit below main connector
cover again with heat shrink for extra protection and a nice professional finish
crimp and solder two pin connector
been very careful drill a hole through back just below center of speedo (this is optional it just keeps the connector in place
cable tie wire through hole and the cluster part is done

Now to the car

Step 8
fit opposite end of two pin connector to a lengh of speaker wire (this will go from our new light connector to the fog light)
feed wire down into dash and through firewall (there are two places: looking in engine bay 1) to the right of brake booster 2) behind driver side strut tower)
cable tie wire to cluster connector
feed cable through engine bay down behind battery through a hole that goes under the bumper (protect wire with heat shrink or split loom)
observing polarity splice and solder (or crimp) wires to positive and negitive of fog light (connect on car wiring side in case fog lights need to be removed)
tape all connections

Step 9
turn on fog lights and check that you have 12volt at dash connector
refit cluster and enjoy having factory looking fog light indicator
