:surprise: Looking for help - my interior light will not function when the doors open, everything else works - I have been told its the Body Control Module - was told they are $800 new plus keys + fitting - U can buy second hand units with a key around $150 - is the unit under the dash and which side of the car so I can check my BCM unit number - thanks

It's behind the dash on the driver's side, sort of behind and above the fuse panel. It clips in, push the bottom of the BCM forward towards the front of the vehicle and then pull the BCM down. The BCM you buy will need to be linked to your ECU (PCM) or it will not start.

thank you for your help - I was a car nut back in the 60's and 70's - knew it all then, everything was cable or direct wired, even paint the brand name on my tyres on a Saturday only to scarp it off Saturday night. - all to hard now - thank you
