Hi guys,
Im building up a track car at the moment and have removed the wiring harness as I want to make up my own so I can run just what I need. Im tossing up whether to keep the ABS as Im running a twin turbo setup and hope to find away around it without removing it. My question is if I build my own loom can i wire up to the ABS or is it controlled by the BCM/ECU. The car will also be using a Haltech computer so I will be turfing the standard computer.
Thanks

On a VS? The ABS modulator (solenoids and pump etc.) and module (computer) are a stand alone system. There is an input to the BCM across the ABS light but that's it.

Other than a 60A fusible link to the modulator and an ignition switched power supply to the module the other wiring connections are either between the two units or the wheel speed sensors and the module.
