VR 5speed With ecotec conversion
Hey guys im converting buick to ecotec at the moment and when i modified the VS engine loom i cam across a problem.. There is a pink n blue wire that was going to the auto box.. Im curious if anyone knows what this does (speedo etc) and also if i will need it or not because im putting a T5 behind the ecotec..

Cheers guys i tried searching but couldnt find a specific answer i need..

It is an ignition wire. so you can use it to power speedo sender, and reverse lights.

Do i need it tho or can i just leave it disconnected since im using the T5 instead of the auto box??? because it ran down to the auto plug..

No. just get rid of it if you already have an ignition feed to the T5.

Im not to sure.. Im plugging the VS AUTO engine loom up to the VR body harness and it was a factory manual so it had the manual loom and computer before i pulled it all out...
