Trailer plug wiring... VP same as VT?

G'day

I've just bought a tow bar for my 99 VT and now i want to wire up a trailer plug.

I have a workshop manual for my 93 VP with the wires listed on the diagram, just wondering if they would be the same wires on the VT?

If not could someone scan the trailer plug diagram for a VT please?

Last I checked a trailer plug is universal. Set of wires for brake and a set for indicators and sometimes a set for headlights on.

I do believe you will find they are different colours.

But it can't hurt to check, you might get lucky.

Should be the same.
White (earth), brown (parkers), red (stop), yellow (left blinker) green (right blinker), black (reverse) and blue (forgot).
