Hid lights for Vs questions

Getting a set of hids for the Vs as my head lights suck!! Tried many diff h4s and all are shite. After driving a new car I realized how bad my ones were.
So going hids in my low beams and keeping the high beams standard.
Any thoughts on what are good kits and what to look out for? As in I know kits come in different watts.
Any type less blinding to other drivers etc?
After seeing tims Vs ute with them I am sold on them! Anyone had trouble with the police with them?

Please go to my ride thread for all the info you could need to answer your questions. Get modern headlights and phillips globes, bottom line. I have tried them all...

Why? Apart frm being brighter they look the same as my Phillips globes?

I use the high strength Phillips globes from AutoBarn...cost like $60 :bang:

No lol side by side the whiteness of the light looks the same. But obviously the hids are brighter!!
Tried the phillips didn't rate them and one blew in less than a year!!

Yes I have looked at a Vs with hids,
Yes I have had the Phillips globes in my Vs
Yes have google searched it,
Yes I know they are illegal, but pretty sure 90% of cars on here are not legal ,
I realize a complain can be for other drivers however the ones I looked at did not seem to be very dazzling for involving cars!
