Bunch of wires under VY centre console...

Hi all just wondering what these wires are under the centre console. I want to wire in some footwell leds and use the cigarette lighter wire for it and just want to know if the wire is anyone of these. It would be a big help because I don't want to go cutting them all to find out.

use a test light or multimeter 2 find out b4 u cut or tap into.

im not too sure... (carefully) take out the rubber bottom of the center console box (held in with rubber molded hooks) and undo the 2X 10mm nuts that are there. reach under from the back and follow the wires from the back of the plug toward the front of the console, if they merge then your all good, if not just cut in where you want and run it to where it is needed...

Yeah I forgot about the multimeter wrx, and rory, I did sus that out with the 2 bolts and I probably will do that.

If you lift the panel around gearstick cup holder etc etc. you can use the cigarette lighter wires for the smokers package and leave the wires under the center console alone. It's the loom not plugged into anything behind the stick

I'll probably end up just using the head unit power...

The smokers package is looped off the same but it's easy to get to.
