Help in changing dashboard lights in vy

Hi guys....
I would like to change the LED's of my VY dashboard 2003. So can anyone show me how to change the LED's and before that what kind of LED's do I need so that i can order it straight away.

mate there was a how to but im pretty sure it was deleted, i did this conversion on my entire dash, you need to be very good with a soldering iron, i tell you now though id much ratehr pay someone to do it rather than do it again, phreddy does the conversions, as well as a few guys on ebay

ohhhh do i have to do soldering ? I thought just replace the globes with different colors and its done. who does on ebay...? I live in Melbourne so is there any one who does the conversion...

thanks mate... I have one more question for you as you got VY same as me. The thing I want to know is about the power steering. I feel that my car power steering is little bit rough, tight or hard. I have driven other cars especially old cars but their power steering is awesome. I heard that VY power steering is not that good. Is that right ? Can we do some modification to improve it ? probably mine power steering could be faulty so how to check it..

which was rectified under recall. Is
your problem the shuddering at low
speed? Mine does this, though I've never
bothered getting it fixed. The fix was
to replace the hoses with bigger ones,
I'm pretty sure.

yeah thats right mate. I got the same problem....
So if i want to fix it so how can i do it ? what do you call to those hoses and from where can i get it cheap.?
i would like to fix it as my wife also drives my car and she finds bit hard to steer infact i also sometimes find it hard..
can you help me ?

Well no I havn't done mine. It shouldn't
make it harder to steer, just shudders
at low speed. As for fix, I would ring a
holden dealer and see if they'll still
fix it for free, as it was a fault with
all VY's from new. If not, then someone
else on JC will be able to tell you how.
There are threads on this subject, or
just start a new one.

Its not that harder but it doesnt feel good when you know there is a feature of power steering in a car. yeah mate will call holden dealer and see how it works.. thanks a lot for your help.
