Ok I know this is a very common question around here but this problem has been going on for about a week now.
I have checked my battery with multimeter and runs 12.4v off and 14.3 volts on
the alternator is running fine and have also checked the common burnt out wire and its fine.
Replaced regulator with another second hand one which I had tested on my brother in laws car to check if faulty
I have checked all earth wires and even replaced main earth on battery.
When i remove the wire plug from top of regulator light goes out
I have drove the car twice to work and back roughly a 45km round trip and car hasnt
skipped a beat but the battery light sits on very faintly.
Is there any other common problem which could be causing this that I may have missed thru my knowledge or my endless google and forum searches ?
This is becoming rather frustrating and has so far cost me pointless money and a new bonnet from beating my head against it......
