hello, just wondering if anyone knows the voltage the light that flashes red in the mode module piece runs at? i have no access to a multimeter presently..they are an easy design to remove the red plastic piece and run a LED upto it, just need to know what voltage LED to buy...
cheers

it would b a 12V LED but the forward voltage would only b around 2V

I changed mine to a blue 3mm led.
Got rid of the red smd and that red plastic thing all together.
Slightly drilled the hole so the 3mm fit snug.
Look's excellent.

It's a straight swap out, Remove the red SMD, Then put in whatever led/smd you choose.(standard 3.**v Led)
I chose a blue 3mm Led over a Smd because if you want to change the colour, you will need to get rid of that red plastic thing.
12V run's into the swich, It is then reduced to 3.??v by a 634k smd resistor.

EDIT:
Here is a dodge night time phone pic.
