vt executive
I have a 98 vt executive and have converted it to power windows. I have mounted the motors ran new power wires from motors into centre console. My goal was to just run power to each motor via running 2 wires 1 for each motor from the accesories wire off the stereo then to a simple 3 way switch eg up, down and the centre is obviously nothing and just run my own earth off the body. I i have tryed this setup but nothing no up or down but when i put the wires straight to a battery they work. I really need some urgent help if any1 knows what the problem is thanks

As i posted on you're other thread.
You will need to use a relay.

Doing it the way you are doing it is not the best.
I'd think you will have lots of issues.

I'd suggest, Go to a wrecker and pull the whole harness and wire it up propley.

The Acc wire can not handle this much current.

I think you may need a power relay and I think you may need a new BCM as they are different for power windows unless you by pass your BCM.
